He looked at the others and yelled...

"Stop that pickle!"

Six heads swiveled around to stare at their team leader.

"What?!"

"Did you just say pickle?" Vin cast a wary glance at Buck.

"Damn dog stole the pickle off my plate. I want it back." Green eyes hardened. "NOW!"

"There he is!" JD spotted the dachshund as it raced for the lake in the park.

The other five men raced after the small animal, dodging children and parents as they attempted to retrieve the pilfered condiment.

Picnic guests laughed. Orin Travis shook his head as he watched his most decorated team be defeated by a miniature dachshund.
