'He was going to die, that was all there was to it.'
His head was pounding, keeping three quarter time with the painful throbbing in the rest of his body. His mouth felt like it had been robbed of all moisture and his stomach was rebelling about every five minutes, making it difficult to lift his head from the rim of the toilet. 'He wasn't going to think about when the last time said toilet was cleaned.'
"Hell, Ez. Ain't you never had Jell-O shots in those fancy colleges you attended? You ain't supposed eat them like candy. No wonder you're hung-over."
